Medical Information

If your child has been injured at school, you will get a message stating that your child has received first aid treatment. If it is more then a minor injury, you will be informed of the details via a telephone call from our staff and potentially asked to come in and check if they are safe to stay in school.

If your child has suffered a head injury, they will come home with a blue wristband showing when and what time the injury occurred.

We use the services of the Birmingham School Health Support Service at school to make referrals for health care support for our pupils.

If you have a concern about your child, either speak to Mrs Green and request a referral or contact the numbers on the posters below directly.

For a referral to go ahead, you need to give consent

As a school we can refer for Brittle/difficult asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, sickle cell, heart conditions and certain other illnesses.
